Thursdays Place lay and win lay selections

Well we move onto Thursday, a few bits from yesterday on the place lay side of things i noticed something that maybe very important in the future.
When i make the selections in the morning there is no money in the markets, so it is very hard to gauge what the prices are going to be.
What i think i will do is when the website is up and ready i will keep updating the selections as the day goes on. There is more value in this imo. Here are some test bets i did last night

The blog will be changing over to a website when i have sorted it out.

Something else to chew over

Right yesterday the new filters stood up really well, so from Monday i will post them up on the board.

Whilst running with the new filters this has given me an idea for laying the horse not to be placed, i will post up some for you to see what you think.

Good results upto now today only one winner at the present with 7 selections, which was 4.00 BFSP so signs are looking good i will begin posting the selections from Monday.

These selections will now remain free til the 1st April 2009

In light of recent days results, i have decided that i would extend the free trial till the 1st of April 2009 this will then give you more of a feel for the results. And will show that in the long run it will make 20 points per month on average.

As you can see the blog has had over 300 hits in the last 48 hours which is not bad consdering the length of time it has been going, so the last thing i want is for people to lose money on the selections.

I have decided that laying up to 14.00 is not the way to go, Lots have e mailed saying they would not dream of laying up to 14.00.

I would not mine the shorter ones are losing, so as from Weds the selection we will be laying will have a ceiling point of 8.0.

There will be less selections but the way i see it the profit will be better.

Saturdays Testing of the place system

Today i will be carrying on with the testing of the place system, i say test as no money will be changing hands.

The rules of the system are as follows: We are backing a horse to be placed in races with 8 to 10 runners declared on Betfair, the idea is when you collect on a horses you then back the next with 10 % of you whole bank, so say your bank is £500 your first bet would be £50 so say the first horse was placed at 2.0 your new Bank would be £547.50 you would then have 10% of that on your next horse.

There will be no lay selections today, i am having major problems getting all my data required so instead of putting selection up willy nilly or not having the right data i wont post any today.

7 day review

Well by my calculations we finish the next 7 day period up +2.09 but maths was never my strong point but i get it to around that through my BF account small profit, but Thursday caught us out for the second week running.
There has been some very poor racing in the last 7 days, but hopefully the weather now shows sign of improving so we will get a little better meetings.

I would just like to thank everybody who has e mailed wanting to subscribe, and people who agree that i am in it for the long run not just a fly by night out to rip people off. As i have said before i am in it to make 20 points per month to earn a nice second income for extra holidays and the like, oh and to keep my expensive wife and son.

So lets move onto the next 7 days and make a nice profit on the week

Right we move onto Monday, i have done the work very early this morning so i am not sure of runners or non runners, or whats on and what maybe off.

Also i would be very intrested to see what the take up on subscription would be so if you are intrested in taking up the subscription could you please drop me an e mail to nightshiftman@hotmail.co.uk first payments would be from the 1st of March of course. The way i am going to play it is if the take up on subscription you will be e mailed daily before 12 noon with the selections then i will be posting the previous days selections on the blog, if the take up is very low i will be ending the blog on the 1st of March, i cannnot play it and fairer than that with the amount of work that goes in £20 per month is a fair price.Also when the flat season begins there will also be a backing system starting this will also be included in the £20 per month.

Review of the last 7 days and the last 28 days

Well what can i say a host of Non Runners and a nightmare of a day to say the least, all the hard work thats gone in this week has been seen off in the space of an afternoon, thats laying imo it sometimes happens like that so instead of a nice profit on the week we end up -1.22 thats the first loss on a week since the service began.

Right lets have a look at the last 28 day or the first month of layingandbacking and the profit that was made +31.33 i would say that wasnt to bad for free this is all to level stake

I would say that was well over my target of 20 points per month, so following this service could have made you a nice little second income or even a 1st income, so lets see a what happens in the next 28 days until it becomes a charging site. But at 20 quid a month and that sort of points profit you would have to be mad not to take up the subscription

Weds Lay Selections

Well the snow seems to have disappeared here in Manchester, hope it stays away

Two AW meetings today has thrown up a good few selections, so a long day in prospect

A couple of points profit yesterday keeps us on track, I will be doing a 28 day review along with the usual 7 day review on Thursday.

So the service will still be free until the end of March lets hope the profit keeps going then the 20 pound subs fee will be a bargin. The 20 pound fee is minimal fee for the work and effort that goes in to come to the selection method.
